Lauren relocated to Washington, D.C. in 2016 after spending 20 years in Louisiana where she witnessed the impacts of energy insecurity through multiple devastating hurricanes. She has pursued a career in energy efficiency and renewable energy, holding positions related to policy, research and development, deployment, and project management. Currently, she is a consultant supporting various Department of Energy offices and non-profit organizations.
