Arlene Fetizanan

International Relations Specialist, U.S. Department of Energy

Arlene Fetizanan is an international relations specialist in the Office of International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Her responsibilities include advancing DOE’s energy and national security mission through international collaborations. She oversees energy efficiency and renewable energy projects that aim to remove market barriers and accelerate the adoption and scale of clean energy and U.S. technologies in China and India. Arlene is a recipient of DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s “Energy Rock Star Award” for boosting U.S. leadership in bilateral programs.

Prior to DOE, Arlene was a senior program manager at the Alliance to Save Energy. She has also worked for the Clinton Climate Initiative, strategic advisory firm Kissinger-McLarty Associates, and Edison Electric Institute. Arlene earned a Master in Planning from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Economics from American University.
